Oxford Partial Knee Featured on Lifetime TV Show

The U.S. Lifetime TV show, “The Balancing Act,” broadcast a story about partial knee replacement on Feb. 15, 2017. The segment features host Olga Villaverde interviewing Mr. Chris Dodd, FRCS, an orthopaedic surgeon from the U.K., and Oxford® Partial Knee patient Beth Winnebald, who is from the U.S.

Mr. Dodd is a developing surgeon of the Oxford Partial Knee and lectures about it on an international circuit. During the interview, Mr. Dodd explains the causes of knee pain and arthritis, the difference between total and partial knee replacement, the benefits of partial knee replacement and what to consider before surgery.

Beth describes how her knee pain prevented her from participating in family activities and interrupted her sleep. Since her Oxford Partial Knee replacement surgery, Beth tells Olga she is able to travel again and spend time doing the things she likes to do with her family.
