The Oxford® Partial Knee is over 30 years old, and has an extensive history of product development.
In 1974, the inventors of the Oxford® Partial Knee patented the principle of partial knee replacement. The Oxford® was first implanted in 1976. It has over 30 years of clinical experience and 20 years survivorship of 92% results, results that equal those of the most successful Total Knee Replacements. The Oxford® Partial Knee Replacement has published survival probabilities of 98% after 10 years which makes it one of the most successful knee replacements available to date.
Today, a range of more than 5 different sizes of the product have been developed – ensuring patients receive a perfectly fitting implant, regardless of their age, sex, gender or weight.
