The Oxford® Partial Knee is the original design of mobile bearing mensical arthroplasty. This design was patented by John Goodfellow and John O’Connor in 1974, and first used in 1976.
The Oxford® Partial Knee has been through three phases of development. The original feature of a large spherical contact area throughout the full range of motion is still used in the existing Oxford® Partial Knee.
